A Model of Servanthood

Introduction:
I. Timothy’s Concern for others (Church)
Philippians 2:20 ESV
For I have no one like him, who will be genuinely concerned for your welfare.

I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon, so that I too may be cheered by news of you.

II. Timothy’s Commitment to Christ ()
Philippians 2:21 ESV
For they all seek their own interests, not those of Jesus Christ.
what he did was for the furtherance of the gospel
he lived so that others were drawn to Christ
he was not ego driven
III. Timothy’s Character of Service ()
Philippians 2:22 ESV
But you know Timothy’s proven worth, how as a son with a father he has served with me in the gospel.
Timothy had no problem serving others, most importantly he was not opposed to serving Paul.
As a son
for the sake of the Gospel
Challenges:
Reach 3 people whom have been sick or hurting or going through it.
Reconcile with that person you have difference with
Find a ministry and begin serving in it
