Their Story is Our Story

Like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, we face a test - serve an idol or jump into the fire.

The Idol

Like King Nebuchadnezzar, the idol put before us reflects our image.

Like King Nebuchadnezzar, we are made to believe that serving the idol before us is a matter of life and death.

The Test

The Test is Returning a True Tithe

The Test is Returning a True Tithe

First-fruits - My House Before Your House

Brought to the Storehouse

The True Tithe is the only time God ever invites us to test Him.

God gives that invitation because He wants something for us, not something from us.

Jump Into The Fire ....

Because it is when you are in the fire that you will encounter Jesus.

Because it is when you are in the fire that others will find Jesus also.

Reflection Questions

What are the flames (risks/fears) that keep you bowing before your idol?

What is at stake for not taking a stand of obedience and trusting the Living God?

How will your life become “seven time hotter” if you stand against idolatry?

How could you encounter Jesus for jumping into the fire?

How could others find Jesus by you standing tall upon God’s promises?
