The Kingdom Of God - Part 5

Kidz World - Children's Church
Mark 1:14–15 NKJV
14 Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.”
Confession of Faith
I am not moved by what I see or by what I feel. I am moved by what I believe. I believe the WORD of God! The victory is mine! I have it now! I can see it through the eyes of my faith!
Introduction
Last week we began our message entitled
Called Into Kingdom Living
Luke 18:29–30 NLT
29 “Yes,” Jesus replied, “and I assure you that everyone who has given up house or wife or brothers or parents or children, for the sake of the Kingdom of God, 30 will be repaid many times over in this life, and will have eternal life in the world to come.”
Operating In The Kingdom Of God
Proverbs 14:12 NKJV
12 There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.
The world is corrupt because its way of doing things is not based on God’s kingdom.
Heaven Is Our Country
We have the kingdom of God, we are ambassadors of Jesus Christ and citizens of heavenly government,
There are laws and a constitution for operating in the kingdom of God, just as there are laws for operating in the world’s governments.
When we understand the laws of God’s system, we can access our inheritance and live the abundant life that Jesus provides for His own.
John 10:10 NKJV
10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
Working The System
Luke 16:1–8 NLT
1 Jesus told this story to his disciples: “There was a certain rich man who had a manager handling his affairs. One day a report came that the manager was wasting his employer’s money. 2 So the employer called him in and said, ‘What’s this I hear about you? Get your report in order, because you are going to be fired.’ 3 “The manager thought to himself, ‘Now what? My boss has fired me. I don’t have the strength to dig ditches, and I’m too proud to beg. 4 Ah, I know how to ensure that I’ll have plenty of friends who will give me a home when I am fired.’ 5 “So he invited each person who owed money to his employer to come and discuss the situation. He asked the first one, ‘How much do you owe him?’ 6 The man replied, ‘I owe him 800 gallons of olive oil.’ So the manager told him, ‘Take the bill and quickly change it to 400 gallons.’ 7 “ ‘And how much do you owe my employer?’ he asked the next man. ‘I owe him 1,000 bushels of wheat,’ was the reply. ‘Here,’ the manager said, ‘take the bill and change it to 800 bushels.’ 8 “The rich man had to admire the dishonest rascal for being so shrewd. And it is true that the children of this world are more shrewd in dealing with the world around them than are the children of the light.
“This dishonest man worked a dishonest system and increased.
The children of light are in an honest system—the kingdom of God.
Why don’t they work the system I have given them so that they can increase?”
We need to say, “Wait a minute! I have the kingdom of God in me, and this kingdom can produce everything needed in abundance!
We need to Work the system of the kingdom of God and set a new standard for the world as His ambassadors.
Mark 10:27 NLT
27 Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God.”
Mark 10:28–30 NLT
28 Then Peter began to speak up. “We’ve given up everything to follow you,” he said. 29 “Yes,” Jesus replied, “and I assure you that everyone who has given up house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or property, for my sake and for the Good News, 30 will receive now in return a hundred times as many houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and property—along with persecution. And in the world to come that person will have eternal life.
For example, The kingdom of God gives a hundredfold return on seed planted.
A hundredfold return will affect people for miles around.
A hundredfold in our marriages will affect every relative we have.
A hundredfold of joy will affect everybody around us.
A hundredfold in our finances will enable us to take care of those needs around us
The trouble is that we’re still trying to work a little of the world’s system and a little of God’s system. It’s time to come out of the world’s system and live according to the kingdom inside of us.
For those who obey Him, the King gives power and ability without measure
The kingdom is in us.
Matthew 12:33–35 NKJV
33 “Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit. 34 Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. 35 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.
What comes forth in our lives comes from our hearts. This is why God desires to change the hearts and then renew the mind by His Word.
Letting Go of a Paycheck Mentality
When Israel was in Egypt, they worked as slaves. Then when God delivered them and they came into the wilderness, provided for them.
We need to recognize that our source and supply are not a job. Our Source and Supply is God
God gave Adam work, not a job.
The purpose for work is to manifest our potential so that we can serve others and serve God better. That is how we will find fulfillment in what we do.
God gives us Assignments
The Kingdom places a demand on each of us!
Matthew 15:32–39 NLT
32 Then Jesus called his disciples and told them, “I feel sorry for these people. They have been here with me for three days, and they have nothing left to eat. I don’t want to send them away hungry, or they will faint along the way.” 33 The disciples replied, “Where would we get enough food here in the wilderness for such a huge crowd?” 34 Jesus asked, “How much bread do you have?” They replied, “Seven loaves, and a few small fish.” 35 So Jesus told all the people to sit down on the ground. 36 Then he took the seven loaves and the fish, thanked God for them, and broke them into pieces. He gave them to the disciples, who distributed the food to the crowd. 37 They all ate as much as they wanted. Afterward, the disciples picked up seven large baskets of leftover food. 38 There were 4,000 men who were fed that day, in addition to all the women and children. 39 Then Jesus sent the people home, and he got into a boat and crossed over to the region of Magadan.
