From the Pastor’s Desk,
The leaves are turning, and a cool breeze is in the air.
Fall is among us and days of preparation are ahead.
Thank you to everyone who made commitments for this coming year.
Because of your sacrifice and love for the Kingdom we have committed over 230, 000 dollars for next year’s budget.
We also have had great success with our Wednesday Night Alive program.
Thank you especially to the Nurture Team and to those who help make our Wednesday Night a success.
One of the modern day choruses sung in many congregations are words written by Henry Smith.
Give thanks with \\ A grateful heart \\ Give thanks to the \\ Holy One \\ Give thanks because \\ He's given Jesus Christ \\ His Son \\ And now let the weak \\ Say I am strong \\ Let the poor \\ Say I am rich \\ Because of what the \\ Lord has done for us \\ \\ © 1978 Integrity's Hosanna!

This song reminds the Worshipper to Give Thanks in a variety of ways.
Give thanks with a grateful heart, give thanks because He is holy, and most important Give Thanks for our Relationship with Jesus.
Another Chorus which echoes these sentiments comes from a hymn “Great is Thy Faithfulness” written by Thomas Chisholm who wrote the song not for a special occasion but just as “something which flowed from the heart.”
Here is my favorite part of the song… /All I have needed Thy hand hath provided; Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!/
It’s been said “that if you have your family, health, friends, and most important your faith, then you really have all that you need.”
I believe that these words are true.
Who do you give thanks for this season and why? Have you called those who are part of your circle?
Have you thank our Heavenly Father for sending you Jesus why not?
Giving Thanks for the Holy One…
