Unless we let the Lord Build our House…

Psalm 127:title–1 NCV
A song for going up to worship. Of Solomon. If the Lord doesn’t build the house, the builders are working for nothing. If the Lord doesn’t guard the city, the guards are watching for nothing.
Psalm 127:1 NCV
If the Lord doesn’t build the house, the builders are working for nothing. If the Lord doesn’t guard the city, the guards are watching for nothing.
Matthew 7:24–27 NIV
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”

The House Built on Dust are easily crushed

Job 4:19 NIV
how much more those who live in houses of clay, whose foundations are in the dust, who are crushed more readily than a moth!

The House Built by God will Stand on Solid Foundation

Matthew 7:24–27 NIV
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”
Jesus illustrated the living out of His word as building a house on solid ground

Jesus Shall be the Cornerstone of this House

Ephesians 2:20 NIV
built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.

What are the Purposes of a House?

For Hospitality
Luke 10:5–7 NIV
“When you enter a house, first say, ‘Peace to this house.’ If someone who promotes peace is there, your peace will rest on them; if not, it will return to you. Stay there, eating and drinking whatever they give you, for the worker deserves his wages. Do not move around from house to house.
Luke 10:5-7
For Church Gatherings
Acts 2:20 NIV
The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord.
Acts 2:20
Now, brothers and sisters let’s join Manong Rod & Sis. Jody Penetrante (owners), the humble and happy owners of this house, as they dedicate this structure to the Lord, for it to serve His purpose
