She’s Gotta Have it

Judges 16:

Judges 16:16–21 NLT

She tormented him with her nagging day after day until he was sick to death of it. Finally, Samson shared his secret with her. “My hair has never been cut,” he confessed, “for I was dedicated to God as a Nazirite from birth. If my head were shaved, my strength would leave me, and I would become as weak as anyone else.” Delilah realized he had finally told her the truth, so she sent for the Philistine rulers. “Come back one more time,” she said, “for he has finally told me his secret.” So the Philistine rulers returned with the money in their hands. Delilah lulled Samson to sleep with his head in her lap, and then she called in a man to shave off the seven locks of his hair. In this way she began to bring him down, and his strength left him. Then she cried out, “Samson! The Philistines have come to capture you!” When he woke up, he thought, “I will do as before and shake myself free.” But he didn’t realize the Lord had left him. So the Philistines captured him and gouged out his eyes. They took him to Gaza, where he was bound with bronze chains and forced to grind grain in the prison.

Sometimes we make bad choices in relation-shipS.

And in Hind site we must ask ourselves why didn’t i see that!!

I get it most folks show us what they want us to see, but eventually we learn who they really are and at that split second.. We need to decide show i run like hell is chasing me ORRRR This is best 4 me..

So as i tackle the relation-shipS series i want to look at some warning signs in a toxic relationship..

Rule #1 Never Love anyone more than you love yourself

Rule #2 Love yourself enough to not want to be mistreated by anyone

Toxic people will wear you out with their interrogation tactics

They will deprive you of things until you tell them what they want to hear

I need you to understand that their are some corrupt people in the world who are employed by the enemy of your soul. And their Job is to destroy you at any cost.

The Worst Person to share your secrets with is the friend of your enemy..

be careful where you lay ur head.. & be careful who’s head lays on your lap

This is how you will know if you have been in a toxic relationship

When other people are involved (she called for a man)

When you Lose your hair, teeth, weight, credit etc.

You No longer have strength..and you don’t even realize it...

See the ultimate plan is to remove you from Fellowship with the one you should love more than yourself.

When you have moved so far from God you don’t even remember when he left you, that relationship was ordained by the devil..

Why Didn’t i See That

That word gouged means they didn’t surgically remove his eyes they used a dull spoon and dug his eyes out, leaving his face disfigured..

The enemy doesn’t just want to destroy you he wants you to look foolish and be a reproach unto God..

The most important part of the text is this

New Living Translation Chapter 16

22 But before long, his hair began to grow back.

Can i talk to some real folk that know that this relationship should have killed you or you should have killed them but thank God your hair grew back.. and your not doing 20-2-life..
