Principles Of The Kingdom

No Kidz World Today - Children’s Church
Luke 6:38 NKJV
38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”
Confession of Faith
I am not moved by what I see or by what I feel. I am moved by what I believe. I believe the WORD of God! The victory is mine! I have it now! I can see it through the eyes of my faith!
Introduction
As we continue our Sermon Series On The Kingdom Of God - I want to share with you today some Kingdom Principles
Principle Definition
a fundamental truth that serves as the foundation for a system of belief or behavior
Principle is a noun = a source or basis of something.
It controls how something happens or how something works
A principle is also ‘a rule or belief about what is right and wrong that governs the way in which someone behaves’. In this sense, the word is typically used in the plural form:
Like her father she had strong moral principles and a dislike for injustice.
James is a man of principle who fights for what he thinks is right.

principal vs. principle?

Principle or Principal,
Generally speaking, a principle is a rule, standard, or belief of one kind or another.
As an adjective, principal means ‘most important’, while a principal is – generally speaking – a person who is most important in a particular organization or group. The Principal of Our Middle School
Isaiah 28:10 NKJV
10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept, Line upon line, line upon line, Here a little, there a little.”
Isaiah 28:10 NLT
10 He tells us everything over and over— one line at a time, one line at a time, a little here, and a little there!”
We will be looking at things from God’s perspective . So it will look different from what we have been shown in this world.
Isaiah 55:8–9 NLT
8 “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. 9 For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.
The Challenge is to Change Our Thinking
How many have heard that saying the battle is in the mind?
Proverbs 23:7 NKJV
7 For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. “Eat and drink!” he says to you, But his heart is not with you.
Poverty or Prosperity - The Choice Is Yours
We have been told - some people are destined to be poor and some people are destined to be rich, and there’s nothing anyone can do about either situation.
Acts 10:34 NKJV
34 Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality.
Acts 10:34 NLT
34 Then Peter replied, “I see very clearly that God shows no favoritism.
God’s Desire is that we Prosper
3 John 2 NKJV
2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
3 John 2 AMP
2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers.
God gives us the Power to get Wealth
Deuteronomy 8:18 NKJV
18 “And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.
Deuteronomy 8:18 NLT
18 Remember the Lord your God. He is the one who gives you power to be successful, in order to fulfill the covenant he confirmed to your ancestors with an oath.
God gives us power to get wealth - so the decision to live in poverty or to live prosperous is yours and mine.
Spiritual Principles that govern Poverty and Prosperity
Proverbs 24:30–31 NLT
30 I walked by the field of a lazy person, the vineyard of one with no common sense. 31 I saw that it was overgrown with nettles. It was covered with weeds, and its walls were broken down.
if you are lazy, or you do-not understand your work, then your fields will not bring forth abundance! - weeds, thorns and nettles - symbolize want and insufficiency
Now look at this
Proverbs 6:6–8 NLT
6 Take a lesson from the ants, you lazybones. Learn from their ways and become wise! 7 Though they have no prince or governor or ruler to make them work, 8 they labor hard all summer, gathering food for the winter.
when you work without supervision you will receive a bountiful supply
So quickly, I want to share with you Four principles that govern poverty and prosperity
Reward
Release
Receiving
Sowing
Reaping
Luke 10:7 NKJV
7 And remain in the same house, eating and drinking such things as they give, for the laborer is worthy of his wages. Do not go from house to house.
Proverbs 28:19 NLT
19 A hard worker has plenty of food, but a person who chases fantasies ends up in poverty.
Work Hard - expect to receive your just reward
Now look at what God’s word says about the opposite
1 Timothy 5:8 NKJV
8 But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
1 Timothy 5:8 NCV
8 Whoever does not care for his own relatives, especially his own family members, has turned against the faith and is worse than someone who does not believe in God.
2 Thessalonians 3:10 NLT
10 Even while we were with you, we gave you this command: “Those unwilling to work will not get to eat.”
Release
Proverbs 11:24–25 NLT
24 Give freely and become more wealthy; be stingy and lose everything. 25 The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.
Proverbs 11:24–25 The Message
24 The world of the generous gets larger and larger; the world of the stingy gets smaller and smaller. 25 The one who blesses others is abundantly blessed; those who help others are helped.
Give your money and it will increase! Hoard too much of it and you will be poor
God’s spiritual Principles do not make wordly sense
Prosperity is not an accident and neither is poverty
When you decide to put God’s spiritual principle of release into action you can expect God’s promise of increase to operate for you
Work The System
Luke 6:38 NLT
38 Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.”
Receiving
Expect to Receive
Acts 3:5 NKJV
5 So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them.
Acts 3:1–10 NKJV
1 Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. 2 And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple; 3 who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms. 4 And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, “Look at us.” 5 So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. 6 Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” 7 And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. 8 So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God. 9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God. 10 Then they knew that it was he who sat begging alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
Sowing
Jesus grew up in an age of agriculture. So the examples used deal with planting seed - tending to the seed, and expecting a harvest from the seed!
Today it may look like stocks, bonds, mutual funds, 401k, 403b, Roth Ira’s real estate, gold, cryptocurrency like bitcoin, natural resource etc...
2 Corinthians 9:6–7 NKJV
6 But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
2 Corinthians 9:6–7 NLT
6 Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. 7 You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”
2 Corinthians 9:10 NLT
10 For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you.
Everyday you and I make a decision. To Sow some of your seed, or give some of your money or to keep it!
When you exercise Faith and give your money - You release God’s Principle of Prosperity!
When you give into to fears and eat your seed or keep your money - you release God’s Principle of Poverty!
Don’t Be Ruled By Your Circumstances!
Ecclesiastes 11:4 NKJV
4 He who observes the wind will not sow, And he who regards the clouds will not reap.
Ecclesiastes 11:4 NLT
4 Farmers who wait for perfect weather never plant. If they watch every cloud, they never harvest.
Ecclesiastes 11:6 NKJV
6 In the morning sow your seed, And in the evening do not withhold your hand; For you do not know which will prosper, Either this or that, Or whether both alike will be good.
Ecclesiastes 11:6 NLT
6 Plant your seed in the morning and keep busy all afternoon, for you don’t know if profit will come from one activity or another—or maybe both.
Give or Sow your seed and you will receive a harvest
Do not look at your circumstances
Sow on a regular basis
Reaping
Galatians 6:6–9 NKJV
6 Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches. 7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. 9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
Galatians 6:6–9 NLT
6 Those who are taught the word of God should provide for their teachers, sharing all good things with them. 7 Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. 8 Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. 9 So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.
Transform your thinking!
Deuteronomy 28:8 NKJV
8 “The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
Deuteronomy 28:8 NLT
8 “The Lord will guarantee a blessing on everything you do and will fill your storehouses with grain. The Lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.
Next Week - We are going to look at how you can reap a harvest when it feels like a recession
