For the past several weeks we have examined some of the aspects of our faith. Many of us, perhaps, take the presence or even absence of real faith, for granted. We cannot afford to do so. Our understanding and nurturing of faith is critical to our overall wellbeing as people and as those who follow God. Simply put, our faith in God are the roots of all our lives. Shallow or rotted roots will result in a tree easily blown down in times of challenge and attack. Deep, strong roots make whatever comes at the tree from above pass almost as if it were nothing. Therefore, our understanding and strengthening of our faith is to be intentional and ongoing, not left to chance or neglected.
