Working Together on the Wall -

Working together building the wall in each section
The need is noticed - It seems that the Lord gives notice to certain individuals of a specific need. This is the first step towards the Lord giving you a ministry. This is the time to get involved in God’s plan. Many stay on the sideline, but God is looking for those whom He can send. God is looking for a servant.
- Two are better than one
- Iron Sharpens Iron
- Each using our gifts for the common purpose
- To encourage each other to love and good works
- One body, many members
As we work together, we need to have the same understanding and foundation.
Doctrinally: Handout
Code of Conduct: Creating
Love one Another
Ambassadors of Christ in our conduct
Standards: Calvary Cross Church
Some say instead, there is a need and someone should take care of this. If you notice the need, just take care of it.There is a fear in stepping out because it is outside of our comfort zone. God can do amazing things through one person, its starts with availability. Be available to God use.
Sunday Morning appearance

Operating in Opposition -

Prayer & Production
Pray then action
Armor of God
CSBSo Peter was kept in prison, but the church was praying fervently to God for him.
Working, Watching, and Battling: Sword and Trowel
This is specifically true when a person is called into the ministry. The movement on the heart is so great that the only thing that can be done is to bring it to the Lord.
The enemy’s actions
Discouragement
Frontal Assault
Rear Assault

Toughness when Together -

9am service for those serving
The heavy heart turns to a time of prayerThis outpouring of the heart to God is a natural progression. With any need that is heavy on our heart, we are to seek God. Often times, fasting and prayer is required.Keys to PrayerStory of Pastor PilotingClimb - Go as high as you can, quick as you can. Climb and Begin to pour out your heart to God. Communicate - Tell someone where you areConfess - Tell them if you are lostClaiming What’s there - See landmarksConform - To do what he says, he has a view of where you are atBe a person of prayer, its as natural as breathing.Look through the rubble of this life, and see GodLook through the situations and see GodGet to the point that the things in this life does not bother you

The Preparation of the Person

Monthly Servants Meeting
CSBlet your eyes be open and your ears be attentive to hear your servant’s prayer that I now pray to you day and night for your servants, the Israelites. I confess the sins we have committed against you. Both I and my father’s family have sinned.
Consistent time in prayer: “Pray day and Night”
CSBPray at all times in the Spirit with every prayer and request, and stay alert with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints.
2. Recognition of Sin - Personal Holiness “Both I and my father’s family have sinned”
CSBBut as the one who called you is holy, you also are to be holy in all your conduct; for it is written, Be holy, because I am holy.
CSBPlease remember what you commanded your servant Moses: “If you are unfaithful, I will scatter you among the peoples.
3. Go to the Word of God: “Remember what you commanded your servant Moses”
KJV 1900Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

From Affliction to Action -

When the heart is burdened and it has been brought before the Lord, if the burden remains, there must be actions driven by faith in our God to begin the work.He had prayed for 4 months. The ministry at CC was in preparation for almost 5 years before God began this workOne His hand was going to be put to the plow, the wall was going to go up very quickly. His answers were able to go quickly to the king since He had already brought the matter to the Lord. He was able to seemingly spring to action because his case had already been brought to the Lord

Counting the Cost of the Work -

A healthy review of the task at hand is needed. The mind is not disconnected from the process of faith. Although the ministry takes faith to take action, it doesn’t discount that we need to understand and review the task that we are undertaking. He was able to be covert until the moment of action. There is Wisdom in counting the cost before making it known to everyone.
CSB“For which of you, wanting to build a tower, doesn’t first sit down and calculate the cost to see if he has enough to complete it? Otherwise, after he has laid the foundation and cannot finish it, all the onlookers will begin to ridicule him, saying, ‘This man started to build and wasn’t able to finish.’ “Or what king, going to war against another king, will not first sit down and decide if he is able with ten thousand to oppose the one who comes against him with twenty thousand? If not, while the other is still far off, he sends a delegation and asks for terms of peace. In the same way, therefore, every one of you who does not renounce all his possessions cannot be my disciple.

The Seed of Success -

Everyone was encouraged to go to work because He had a complete vision. The Vision for CCC has come slowly as the walls have taken some time to investigate.
KJV 1900Where there is no vision, the people perish: But he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
The vision of what to do needs to be received and revealed from the Lord.

The Danger of Discouragement -

immediately upon the launch of the work of the Lord, there is opposition. There will always be the attack of the enemy when there is a work of God. If you are not under attack by the enemy, question whether you are doing the work for the Lord.
CSB11 Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against evil, spiritual forces in the heavens. 13 For this reason take up the full armor of God, so that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having prepared everything, to take your stand. 14 Stand, therefore, with truth like a belt around your waist, righteousness like armor on your chest, 15 and your feet sandaled with readiness for the gospel of peace. 16 In every situation take up the shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit—which is the word of God. 18 Pray at all times in the Spirit with every prayer and request, and stay alert with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints.
