When you suffer for good…

1. You silence detractors, 15-16.

¨By your attitude- “sanctify.”

¨By your actions- “testify”

¨By your answers- “defend”

2. You obey God’s will, 17.

3. You imitate Christ, 18.

- “For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps.”

- "Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us."
