Principles Of The Kingdom
Kidz World Today - Children’s Church
38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”
Confession of Faith
I am not moved by what I see or by what I feel. I am moved by what I believe. I believe the WORD of God! The victory is mine! I have it now! I can see it through the eyes of my faith!
Introduction
Principle Definition
a fundamental truth that serves as the foundation for a system of belief or behavior
Principle is a noun = a source or basis of something.
Receiving The Word Of God
10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept, Line upon line, line upon line, Here a little, there a little.”
10 He tells us everything over and over— one line at a time, one line at a time, a little here, and a little there!”
Poverty or Prosperity - The Choice Is Yours
God’s Desire is that we Prosper
2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers.
God gives us the Power to get Wealth
18 “And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.
18 Remember the Lord your God. He is the one who gives you power to be successful, in order to fulfill the covenant he confirmed to your ancestors with an oath.
Four principles that govern poverty and prosperity
Reward
Release
Receiving
Sowing
Reaping
7 But when they saw it, they all complained, saying, “He has gone to be a guest with a man who is a sinner.”
Reward
19 A hard worker has plenty of food, but a person who chases fantasies ends up in poverty.
Release
24 Give freely and become more wealthy; be stingy and lose everything.
Give your money and it will increase! Hoard too much of it and you will be poor
God’s spiritual Principles do not make wordly sense
Prosperity is not an accident and neither is poverty
When you decide to put God’s spiritual principle of release into action you can expect God’s promise of increase to operate for you
Work The System
38 Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.”
Receiving
Expect To Receive
1 Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.
2 And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple;
3 who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms.
4 And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, “Look at us.”
5 So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them.
6 Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.”
7 And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
8 So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God.
9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God.
10 Then they knew that it was he who sat begging alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
Sowing
Jesus grew up in an age of agriculture. So the examples used deal with planting seed - tending to the seed, and expecting a harvest from the seed!
Today it may look like stocks, bonds, mutual funds, 401k, 403b, Roth Ira’s real estate, gold, cryptocurrency like bitcoin, natural resource etc...
6 But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
6 Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop.
7 You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”
God provides the seed
10 For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you.
Everyday you and I make a decision. To Sow some of your seed, or give some of your money or to keep it!
When you exercise Faith and give your money - You release God’s Principle of Prosperity!
When you give into fears and eat your seed or keep your money - you release God’s Principle of Poverty!
Don’t Be Ruled By Your Circumstances!
4 He who observes the wind will not sow, And he who regards the clouds will not reap.
4 Farmers who wait for perfect weather never plant. If they watch every cloud, they never harvest.
6 In the morning sow your seed, And in the evening do not withhold your hand; For you do not know which will prosper, Either this or that, Or whether both alike will be good.
6 Plant your seed in the morning and keep busy all afternoon, for you don’t know if profit will come from one activity or another—or maybe both.
Give or Sow your seed and you will receive a harvest
Do not look at your circumstances
Sow on a regular basis
Reaping
6 Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches.
7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.
9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
6 Those who are taught the word of God should provide for their teachers, sharing all good things with them.
7 Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant.
8 Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit.
9 So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.
Transform Your Thinking!
8 “The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
8 “The Lord will guarantee a blessing on everything you do and will fill your storehouses with grain. The Lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.
Stay Faithful to God’s Command
Recession, Inflation and economic hard times are not new to God!
1 A severe famine now struck the land, as had happened before in Abraham’s time. So Isaac moved to Gerar, where Abimelech, king of the Philistines, lived.
2 The Lord appeared to Isaac and said, “Do not go down to Egypt, but do as I tell you.
3 Live here as a foreigner in this land, and I will be with you and bless you. I hereby confirm that I will give all these lands to you and your descendants, just as I solemnly promised Abraham, your father.
4 I will cause your descendants to become as numerous as the stars of the sky, and I will give them all these lands. And through your descendants all the nations of the earth will be blessed.
5 I will do this because Abraham listened to me and obeyed all my requirements, commands, decrees, and instructions.”
6 So Isaac stayed in Gerar.
12 When Isaac planted his crops that year, he harvested a hundred times more grain than he planted, for the Lord blessed him.
Give What You Need
7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
7 Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant.
