Matthew 6:25-

For this reason....

Will you serve God or your own ambition?

Store up treasures in heaven, not on earth.

No one can serve two masters.

Fleshly question:

If I don’t worry about the things I need (and want), who will?

By worrying about these things, we are trying to do exactly what Jesus said that we cannot do, which is serve two masters.

The Farmer’s plight.

I grew up in a farming community and worked at an Agri business.

Farmers plow, plant, fertilize and then wait.

Summer time: Check and repair the harvest equipment, Go to the lake, celebrate the 4th of July, go riding.

Others farmers would drive up and down the fields worrying weather their crop was going to come in.

THEY GOT THE SAME WEATHER.
