If anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation. Whosoever will save their life will lose it. You must take up your cross and follow me daily. I am the vine and you are the branches, without me you can accomplish nothing. I could go on, but I think you get the idea. Once we accept Christ as our Lord and Savior, in essence taking the prize His life deserves as our own, there are two ways we can complete the deal. Either give our life to Christ, even-steven; or hold onto our prized possesion. Meaning we think so highly of our plans and desires for our life that we refuse to complete the trade. Thank God for grace and God's inability to renege on His promise.
