The world will ridicule our faith because we believe that blood and death bring forgiveness and life. They equate our faith system to those of ancient antiquity where people offered sacrifices (sometimes human) to their gods. The difference is that one type originated in the heart and mind of man (futile) and the other originated in the heart and mind of God (lifegiving).
After all, what human would come up with the idea of sacrificing and killing their own god to appease that god? Doesn’t make sense does it? Only God Himself would come up with the plan of redemption whereby He Himself would die for His subjects.
