The point of this text being driven home is no shed blood no forgiveness of sin. The solution for the problem is not to try harder, but the solution is God incarnate the promised Messiah Jesus Christ and His shed blood. The old sacrificial system and the Old priesthood are a foreshadowing of this. Furthermore, we have mentioned in verses 16 and 17 of a will and how it is only in effect after the death of the one who made the will. Jesus inaugurated the New Covenant by his death and the shedding of His blood. Our salvation which is our inheritance rests on the new covenant in Christ’s blood which his superior to the blood of animals. This message will draw your attention to three specific facts from this passage of Scripture this morning
