Mentors make a difference.
Let’s Be Merciful With One Another because we all know...
How hard it is to for us to change, how easy it is to mess up and how hard it is to clean up
all have an IT that troubles us. What is IT? IT is different for us all
How hard it is to for us to change, how easy it is to mess up and how hard it is to clean up
Mercy triumphs over judgment.
A disciple gives up his way of life to follow the lifestyle and example of his master. Jesus mentions disciple 265 times in the N.T. and believer only 5 times, Christian only 3 times.
We hear so many messages...
Share Jesus without fear
Disciple or Convert?

18 And a certain ruler asked him, saying, Good Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? 19 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God. 20 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother. 21 And he said, All these have I kept from my youth up. 22 Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me. 23 And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich. 24 And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! 25 For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. 26 And they that heard it said, Who then can be saved? 27 And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.

What was missing? Thou Shalt not covet
What did the man pass up? Being mentored by Jesus.
Why is the man’s name never mentioned?
It doesn’t say it is impossible but that it is difficult.
4 RULES TO Prepare FOR A Life Of Significance
I’ve learned...
Build wisely. It is easier to tear down than build up (20-100 affirmations to make up for one silly statement) - SKILLS, TALENTS AND ABILITIES BUILD UP, YOUR CHARACTER CAN TEAR DOWN.
T
OWN IT - People who own it don’t spend time making excuses. - WE ALL HAVE AN IT.
A few moments out of the will of God can affect us for a lifetime. - Moses, David, Saul ---Joseph, Shamgar, and Elijah. Can God use all things for our good? veer away from detours to my destiny.

I’m going to face pain in this life. Play now and pay later or pay now and pay later.

1 Peter 4:1 KJV 1900
Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
I want to bypass extra heart ache by willing to do the will of God. I don’t want to be like the children of Israel and turn a two week walk into a 40 year journey through the desert. Do you?
Colossians 3:9–14 KJV 1900
Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.
Ephesians 4:22–24 KJV 1900
That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
What’s the problem? Sin. What is the answer?
1 Peter 4:1 KJV 1900
Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
