Purpose of communion:
Purpose of communion:
To remember the death of Christ
To commit to our call that Jesus has placed on our lives
Our Salvation is bought & sealed by the blood of Christ
Our response is to give our lives to Him & His purpose
repent of sin
obedient to His call
We commit to dying to self
To represent the mutual
Not everyone should take communion
Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty concerning the body and blood of the Lord. Let a person examine himself, then, and so eat of the bread and drink of the cup. For anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment on himself.
1 Cor 11:27

You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons.
You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons. Shall we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he?
