Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. it gives us example
it gives us hope
John 18:36–37 ESV
Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I might not be delivered over to the Jews. But my kingdom is not from the world.” Then Pilate said to him, “So you are a king?” Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. For this purpose I was born and for this purpose I have come into the world—to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice.”

John 6:15 ESV
Perceiving then that they were about to come and take him by force to make him king, Jesus withdrew again to the mountain by himself.

13 So they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him, crying out, “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, even the King of Israel!” 14 And Jesus found a young donkey and sat on it, just as it is written, 15 “Fear not, daughter of Zion; behold, your king is coming, sitting on a donkey’s colt!”

UNBELIEF ASKS, “WHAT IS TRUTH?” WITH A CYNICAL CONTEMPT TOWARDS THOSE WHO BELIEVE THAT THEY HAVE FOUND IT

SCEPTICISM ASKS, “WHAT IS TRUTH?” WITH THE SADDEST DOUBT AS TO THE POSSIBILITY OF ATTAINING IT.

INQUIRY PUTS THE QUESTION, “WHAT IS TRUTH?” WITH SINCERE AND PRAYERFUL INTEREST.

John 18:33-

FAITH ASKS, “WHAT IS TRUTH?” AND RECEIVES TO THE QUESTION AN ANSWER DEFINITE, ASSURED, AND SATISFYING.

:40

Matthew 21:43 ESV
Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people producing its fruits.
Matt

He qualifies His language, guarding it, by the “but now,” i.e. at the present time, my Kingdom is not of this world and my servants do not fight, leaving the plain inference that at some future time, just as prophesied, His servants would fight
