Principles of The Kingdom
Kidz World Today - Children’s Church
Luke 6:38 NKJV
38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”
Confession of Faith
I am not moved by what I see or by what I feel. I am moved by what I believe. I believe the WORD of God! The victory is mine! I have it now! I can see it through the eyes of my faith!
God - The Greatest Giver
God has always been a great giver
Ephesians 2:8–9 NKJV
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.
Ephesians 2:8–9 AMP
8 For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God; 9 Not because of works [not the fulfillment of the Law’s demands], lest any man should boast. [It is not the result of what anyone can possibly do, so no one can pride himself in it or take glory to himself.]
Our own Salvation is a gift
Romans 8:32 NKJV
32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
Romans 8:32 NLT
32 Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?
God wants us to have “all things” Not just those things that are spiritual, but all things! That includes money for food, clothes, mortgage or rent, and even some for entertainment
All things
If God did not withhold his own Son - then don’t make it difficult in your mind to understand that God will give us all things!
The Greatest Gift is Jesus Christ
The Holy Spirit Is A Gift From God
Luke 11:13 NKJV
13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!”
Luke 11:13 NLT
13 So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him.”
Our God Is a Giving God!
He wants us to have all things
2 Peter 1:3 NLT
3 By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.
God Wants Us To Be Like Him!
1 John 4:17 NKJV
17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.
God is a giver
Jesus is a giver
The Holy Spirit is a giver
God wants you and me to be givers
Luke 6:30 NLT
30 Give to anyone who asks; and when things are taken away from you, don’t try to get them back.
Matthew 10:8 NLT
8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cure those with leprosy, and cast out demons. Give as freely as you have received!
Luke 9:13 NKJV
13 But He said to them, “You give them something to eat.” And they said, “We have no more than five loaves and two fish, unless we go and buy food for all these people.”
Luke 6:38 NLT
38 Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.”
Mark 14:7 NLT
7 You will always have the poor among you, and you can help them whenever you want to. But you will not always have me.
Jesus’s lifestyle was about giving
John 10:10 NLT
10 The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.
say Give
You must see yourself as a giver! The way Jesus gave effects every area of our life - every realm! When he met the depressed - he gave
When he came across the hungry - he gave
When he came across those who need clothing - he gave
Jesus gave and gave and gave
Finally he made the ultimate sacrifice
He gave his life - so you and I could have eternal life
Become a giver of every good thing needed by those around you
When You Give Joyfully - You reap Abundantly
2 Corinthians 9:7 NLT
7 You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”
Giving always results in receiving
Luke 6:38 AMP
38 Give, and [gifts] will be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will they pour into [the pouch formed by] the bosom [of your robe and used as a bag]. For with the measure you deal out [with the measure you use when you confer benefits on others], it will be measured back to you.
Levels Of Receiving
Mark 4:8 NKJV
8 But other seed fell on good ground and yielded a crop that sprang up, increased and produced: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.”
When you become a giver - you automatically move yourself into the realm of a receiver! The bible tells us about levels of receiving!
Give and It will be given back to you!
2 Corinthians 9:11 NCV
11 He will make you rich in every way so that you can always give freely. And your giving through us will cause many to give thanks to God.
if the Body of Christ began to operate according to this biblical principal, we would witnessed the abundance Moses experienced in the book of Exodus!
Exodus 36:1–7 NLT
1 “The Lord has gifted Bezalel, Oholiab, and the other skilled craftsmen with wisdom and ability to perform any task involved in building the sanctuary. Let them construct and furnish the Tabernacle, just as the Lord has commanded.” 2 So Moses summoned Bezalel and Oholiab and all the others who were specially gifted by the Lord and were eager to get to work. 3 Moses gave them the materials donated by the people of Israel as sacred offerings for the completion of the sanctuary. But the people continued to bring additional gifts each morning. 4 Finally the craftsmen who were working on the sanctuary left their work. 5 They went to Moses and reported, “The people have given more than enough materials to complete the job the Lord has commanded us to do!” 6 So Moses gave the command, and this message was sent throughout the camp: “Men and women, don’t prepare any more gifts for the sanctuary. We have enough!” So the people stopped bringing their sacred offerings. 7 Their contributions were more than enough to complete the whole project.
More Than Enough
When you give your gift to God it allows God the opportunity to bless you!
Your Gift will prosper you!
Proverbs 17:8 NKJV
8 A present is a precious stone in the eyes of its possessor; Wherever he turns, he prospers.
Proverbs 18:16 NKJV
16 A man’s gift makes room for him, And brings him before great men.
Proverbs 19:6 NLT
6 Many seek favors from a ruler; Everyone is the friend of a person who gives gifts!
Giving Will Spread The Gospel
I believe if we operate in the biblical principals of giving and apply them in our lives daily every church, every mission outreach, every christian home would say Lord ‘we’ve got too much”
