Theme: God Seeks Moses' Life. The story in these verses is prefiguring not only the tenth plague, but it’s also pointing to the biggest plague of the world, the flesh, the devil and sin, all at once. God wasn’t doing this just to save the Jews, but He’s doing this to set up the salvation for everyone. God is showing us what king of cost it takes to make a family.
