WHY IS A SOUL VALUABLE? Value defined The importance, worth, or its usefulness. Luke 19:10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost. THE VALUE OF ONE SOUL 1. ONE SOUL IS WORTH THE WHOLE WORLD Mark 8:36-37 36  And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? 37  Is anything worth more than your soul? THE VALUE OF ONE SOUL 2. JESUS PAID THE SOUL BY HIS PRECIOUS BLOOD 1 Peter 1:18-19 NIV [18] For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed …[ … [19] but with the precious blood of Christ , a lamb without blemish or defect. THE VALUE OF ONE SOUL 2. JESUS PAID THE SOUL BY HIS PRECIOUS BLOOD The worth of an item depends of the price it was bought. The worth of the soul’s salvation is paid by the blood (life) of the Son of God who created the whole universe. THE VALUE OF ONE SOUL 3. IT’S WORTH MORE THAN ALL OUR POSSESSIONS. Matthew 13:45-46 NIV [45] “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. [46] When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it. God was willing to give up everything to give us life. Are you willing to give up everything? Your time, money, talent, carrier, job, etc. for the Kingdom of God? THE VALUE OF ONE SOUL CONCLUSION: Luke 15:10 NIV In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” THE VALUE OF ONE SOUL CONCLUSION: Mat 22:36-39 36 Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law? 37 Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' THE VALUE OF ONE SOUL CONCLUSION: If Jesus was willing to pay the price to save a soul and the whole of angels in heaven rejoices for just one soul to repent. Are you also willing to sacrifice to invite, care, share and help change one soul to heaven's sake? The next time you look at a person whoever that person might be, look at him/her with dignity and respect, and a desire to help save him/her because that soul is precious and priceless.
