An Innocent Man
Prelude
After the scribes held there Kangaroo Court.
The whole company brought him before Pilate.
The charges
He
He misleads the nation
He
He Misleads the nation
Forbids us from paying Tax to Caesar
He claims to be the Messiah
He claims to be a King
The First Investigation
Pilate ask a question
Are you the King of the Jews??
We know the charges are false and so does Pilate.
The Second Investigation
Pilate passes the buck, to Herod
Herod is looking to be entertained
Herod questions at length
The Scribes (Vehemently)accuse Him
The friendship is born
Herod and his men Mock Christ
Dress Him as a King and send Him back to Pilate
Pilate and Herod become BFFs
The Appeal
Pilate calls the religious leaders
Your charges are false
Neither I or Herod find them true
You have no evidence that warrants a capitol charge
I will scourge him and release Him
(to make you happy)
The scandal
Give us the murderer Kill the innocent man
The plea of the unrighteous for the righteous
The plea of the unrighteous crowd for the death of the righteous
Pilate caves! And a gross miscarriage of justice occurs!
