The One who Was and Is and Is to Come.

What He said
What He Did
Who He Is
Acts 4:12 NASB95
“And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”

The Sick

Matthew 8:2–13 NASB95
And a leper came to Him and bowed down before Him, and said, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” Jesus stretched out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. And Jesus said to him, “See that you tell no one; but go, show yourself to the priest and present the offering that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.” And when Jesus entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, imploring Him, and saying, “Lord, my servant is lying paralyzed at home, fearfully tormented.” Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.” But the centurion said, “Lord, I am not worthy for You to come under my roof, but just say the word, and my servant will be healed. “For I also am a man under authority, with soldiers under me; and I say to this one, ‘Go!’ and he goes, and to another, ‘Come!’ and he comes, and to my slave, ‘Do this!’ and he does it.” Now when Jesus heard this, He marveled and said to those who were following, “Truly I say to you, I have not found such great faith with anyone in Israel. “I say to you that many will come from east and west, and recline at the table with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven; but the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” And Jesus said to the centurion, “Go; it shall be done for you as you have believed.” And the servant was healed that very moment.
Matthew 8:1–4 NASB95
When Jesus came down from the mountain, large crowds followed Him. And a leper came to Him and bowed down before Him, and said, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” Jesus stretched out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. And Jesus said to him, “See that you tell no one; but go, show yourself to the priest and present the offering that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”
Matthew
Matthew 8:

Jesus
Leviticus 5:3 NASB95
‘Or if he touches human uncleanness, of whatever sort his uncleanness may be with which he becomes unclean, and it is hidden from him, and then he comes to know it, he will be guilty.
1 Corinthians 13:2 NASB95
If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
1 Corinthians 13:2 NASB95
If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.

If we have to shrug off Christian traditions to reach the biker community with the message of true freedom in Jesus Christ, then that is exactly what we must do.
If I have to piss off Sister Bertha better than you and all the folks in the AMEN pew to reach one person for Christ.
We are in a battle for the souls of the biker community with an enemy that is powerful and cunning and we are on his home turf.
Jesus had the end goal in mind
See that you tell no one
We need to keep the end goal in mind. The salvation of souls through Christ.

The Soldier

Matthew 8:5–13 NASB95
And when Jesus entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, imploring Him, and saying, “Lord, my servant is lying paralyzed at home, fearfully tormented.” Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.” But the centurion said, “Lord, I am not worthy for You to come under my roof, but just say the word, and my servant will be healed.
Matthew 5
The Centurion
He understood his position with Christ
I am not worthy.
Its not a self esteem issue.
He understood Jesus’ authority
If you have ever led troops. If you have been in leadership in an MC.

Jesus’ response

He marveled
The only other time that this word is applied to Jesus was when he was teaching in Nazareth and he wondered at their unbelief.
If you think all the people in the church are good and all the ones outside the church are bad, you are wrong.
