“If I were to testify on my own behalf, my testimony would not be valid

Observation:
Why Jesus is saying this?
Because a witness of a single person was not considered enough evidence to defend your statement.
“A single witness shall not suffice against a person for any crime or for any wrong in connection with any offense that he has committed. Only on the evidence of two witnesses or of three witnesses shall a charge be established-
Witness of the Father
vs. 32
But someone else is also testifying about me, and I assure you that everything that he says about me is true.

Who is Jesus talking about here?
He is talking about John the Baptist because of the Baptism of Jesus- , ,
Witness of John the Baptist:

In fact, you sent investigators to listen to John the Baptist, and his testimony about me was true. 34 Of course, I have no need of human witnesses, but I say these things so you might be saved.
