The Doctrine of Grace Has Been Perverted and Cheapened!
The problem is Grace is not a wordly term but a Christian doctrine.
Therefore we’ve taken something that was meant to empower and equip the Church and have redefined it in such a way that it has crippled the Church.
The definition of Grace has been twisted with part truths and complete lies so much that the true definition of Grace is lost to many and when it’s properly defined will often bring offense!
JUDE 1.3-
jude
Pervert the Grace of our God into Sensuality and deny or ONLY Master and Lord, Jesus Christ!
Not everyone who teaches “hyper-grace” is demonically bent on leading the church astray and trying to justify sin.
Some truly love Jesus but are preaching truth mixed with lies, often out of ignorance.
Others however are looking for a way to justify sin, live in sin and lead others into sin, all while saying “Grace, grace, grace”
THREE MYTHS OR FALSE TEACHINGS ABOUT GRACE
The politically and socially correct definition of Grace today is:
God’s love is greater than my sin (TRUTH) therefore I can continue practicing sin.
(LIE)
2. Grace is a product and manifestation of the love of God (TRUTH), and love overlooks sin.
(LIE)
3. We are saved by the Grace of God, not by our own selves (TRUTH), therefore sin has been dealt with and there is no need to be concerned about sin in my life.
I don’t have to confess sin, I cannot sin and the Holy Spirit no longer convicts me of my sin.
(LIE)
Rom 6.12-
IT IS THROUGH THE DULLING OF OUR SPIRITUAL SENSES AND LACK OF COMMUNION WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT THAT WE ARE ABLE TO PRACTICE SIN SO EASILY.
SIN GRIEVES THE SPIRIT OF GOD, TO WILLINGLY AND CONSISTENTLY PRACTICE IT, WITHOUT REPENTANCE IS TAKE THE GRACE OF GOD FOR GRANTED.
REPENTANCE AND REMORSE ARE NOT THE SAME THING.
YOU CAN FEEL REMORSE FOR SOMETHING BUT NOT REPENT OF IT
REPENTANCE AND THE SPIRIT OF GRACE IN OUR LIVES
WHAT IS THE SPIRIT OF GRACE?? - THE HOLY SPIRIT!
TRUE GRACE, because it is born of the Holy Spirit, will actually withdraw from SIN
What then is GRACE?
The Greek word for Grace is Charis
