he who sows to the Spirit
1 Corinthians 15: 37 When you sow, you do not plant the body that will be, but just a seed, perhaps of wheat or of something else. 38 But God gives it a body as he has determined, and to each kind of seed he gives its own body.
- or of something else
- Money? Time? You can plant almost anything.
- you do not plant the body that will be
- Don’t always expect the same that you planted
- It evolves, changes, becomes something else, better!
- I know we have all heard that you plant money you get money, you reap what you sow. But there is another factor that we must see, where do you plant it?
Galatians 6: 8 For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.
When we sow to the spirit we will reap something much greater that what we have sown!
*Sowing into the Kingdom of God is a primary way to sow to the spirit! The context in Galatians is supporting the workers and the work of the ministry.
What would be better than money? What will we reap?
- God gives it a body as he has determined (God knows what we need before we ask)
· Something that money cannot buy.
o Love, healthy relationships, favor, open doors, eternal things…
· Something that would cost a lot more.
o He always turns it into more than we could.
