Proverbs 17:9 NLT
Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends.
Proverbs 17:5 NKJV
He who mocks the poor reproaches his Maker; He who is glad at calamity will not go unpunished.

What’s Love Got to Do with It?

1 Peter 3:17–22 NLT
17 Remember, it is better to suffer for doing good, if that is what God wants, than to suffer for doing wrong! 18 Christ suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but he died for sinners to bring you safely home to God. He suffered physical death, but he was raised to life in the Spirit. 19 So he went and preached to the spirits in prison—20 those who disobeyed God long ago when God waited patiently while Noah was building his boat. Only eight people were saved from drowning in that terrible flood. 21 And that water is a picture of baptism, which now saves you, not by removing dirt from your body, but as a response to God from a clean conscience. It is effective because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. 22 Now Christ has gone to heaven. He is seated in the place of honor next to God, and all the angels and authorities and powers accept his authority.
1 Peter 3.17
Jesus Loved us so Much and he He never sinned, but he died for sinners to bring you safely home to God. He suffered physical death.
Some Might argue that Jesus doesn’t love everyone but i need to talk with you in my introduction concerning the
Sufferings of Christ
Stage One: as stated Jesus went thru the physical and Spiritual suffering, This began at Gethsemane (olive grove) it’s the place of crushing..
(Look at someone and ask them have ever been there crushed) You aren’t really walking in your anointing until you can servive the garden..
Under great stress the small capillaries in the sweat glands break & mix with blood. So hw was sweating blood thats how intense this prayer was.
Stage Two: After the arrest at night and abandonment by all his disciples Jesus is brought before Caiaphas and the Jewish council he is blindfolded mocked repeatedly, spat on, and struck in the face..
(these where the church folk)
Church folk can be the worst of all stages because, they Love you when your saying what they want to hear, and hating you when you are telling them the truth..
So he experienced an
arrested abandonment that night..
He was blind folded but he still got to see who everyone really was..
He was blind folded but he got to see who everyone really was..
O i’m sorry this ain’t one of those east bunny messages
Stage Three: In the Morning Jesus, batted and exhausted is taken across Jerusalem to be interrogated by pilate.
(before we knew anything about police brutality or being discriminated Jesus who loved us endured it)
The People he healed delivered & set free had to choose between Jesus or Barabbas
Barabbas was trouble maker for the government & a murder.. Yet they choose him over Jesus..
Folks been choosing Barabbas every since.
example: When you allow your relationships to pull you out the will of God.. You Choose barabbas
when your personal life trumps anything and everything Jesus.. You Choose Barabbas..
I just need some real folks that can say in my life time i choose barabbas over Jesus..But thank God For His forgiven Power..
Jesus is scourged and delivered to be crucified & Barabbas is at the strip club making it rain..
Stage four: The Roman Scourge consisted of the victim being stripped and stretched against a pillar or bent over a low post..
Compare that to Slavery vs white mans religion..
This instrument of torture was a short wooden handle to which several leather thongs were attached with bits of iron and bone tied to the thongs. The blows where laid on the victims back by two men one lashing the man on one side the other man on other side of the body.
This resulted in the flesh being cut to such an extent that veins and arteries, sometime inner organs were exposed. Often the victim died during the flogging..
But Jesus got up.. tell someone he took that beaten for me...
Scourging was hideous torture..The inability of Jesus to bear his own cross is no doubt due to the severe infliction..
Is 53:
Isaiah 53:5 NKJV
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.
Stage Five: The scarlet robe & a crown of thorns ( roman soldiers mock him)
Stage Six: Led him away to Crucify him
the heavy beam of the cross is tied to Christ shoulder He begins he slow journey to Golgotha (the place of The Skull)
Stage seven: At Golgotha the cross beam beam is placed on the ground and Jesus is laid on it. His arms stretched along the beams. A heavy square , wrought iron nail is driven into both wrist.. they then drive a nail through his ankles and raise the wood beam up into the air and place it into a hole in the ground..
Stage eight: Jesus seems to be in the eyes of on lookers as a pathetic spectacle, blood streaked, cover with wounds and exposed to the view of the people.
He experiences hours of pain in his entire body, fatigue in his arms, great waves of cramps in his muscles, and skin torn in his back. Then the other agony begins a crushing pain deep in the chest as fluid begins to compress his heart he feels an intense thirst. He is totally aware of the abuse and ridicule of those who pass by the cross..
Stage Nine: These words mark the climix of the sufferings of Christ for a lost world. His cry in Aramaic My God, My God why has thou forsaken me, testifies the he experiences separation from God as the sinner’s substitute
Stage Ten: It Is Finished…the end of his suffering & the completion of the work of Redemption. He paid our debt in full and the plan of salvation established.
But did you ever wonder what Jesus was doing after his body had given up the ghost??
first let me share with you that
This is how we
FORGIVENESS.—In OT three words especially are used to express the idea of forgiveness—כִּפֶּר* ‘cover’ or ‘pacify’; סָלַח (root meaning unknown); נָשָׂאlift up’ or ‘away.’ ‘pardon or cover
Where did Jesus Go after her had given up the ghost???
1 Peter 3:18–20 NLT

1 peter 3:18
So after winning sinners of the natural world and goes and preaches to the sinners of the spiritual world..
That right there should prove what length Gods love is for you, for when you where yet a sinner god loved you..
The Word Prison in the greek is phy-lake: it means a place for the detention or processing of criminals or the accused.
So If Jesus cared enough to spend the night in Spiritual Prison preaching the word of salvation to them, what hight, what length , what depth do you think he is wiling to get to you…
jail cells, crack houses, clubs, shooting galaries.. your baby mommas house.. Jesus is coming to those you may not believe should be saved but because many of us who are called but haven’t been chosen. He is saving the best for last…
Jesus got up so that you can get up from what ever has held you prisoner.
See its ironic that the spirits held captives till now Jesus preached to them where the spirits Noah preached too that it would rain, but they didn’t receive it..
And so it this generation, the Church is the ARK and folk are fighting in the ark instead of helping others in the ARK.. Let me ask you who was the last person you help get into the the Ark? And why is it taking you so long to get another one in?
Isaiah 5:14 KJV 1900
14 Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, And opened her mouth without measure: And their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, And he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.
Meanwhile Heaven hasn’t had to make any improvements or additions..
Isaih 5.14
The deceiver will have you distracted in not seeing the truth…
