CIT: The disciples didn’t understand what Jesus was doing.

CIS: The future is unknown and at times as we look at it it’s hard to understand.

SO: Students will learn to trust Jesus even when they don’t understand.

SM - Have you ever thought to your self what is with all the rules? Have you ever started a class and thought “I have to do ALL this.”

We – are taught to question, and that is a good thing more times than not but what about the times you question and you don’t get an answer what then?

​ NIVThe next day the great crowd that had come for the festival heard that Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem. They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting, “Hosanna!” “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Blessed is the king of Israel!” Jesus found a young donkey and sat on it, as it is written: “Do not be afraid, Daughter Zion; see, your king is coming, seated on a donkey’s colt.” At first his disciples did not understand all this. Only after Jesus was glorified did they realize that these things had been written about him and that these things had been done to him. Now the crowd that was with him when he called Lazarus from the tomb and raised him from the dead continued to spread the word. Many people, because they had heard that he had performed this sign, went out to meet him. So the Pharisees said to one another, “See, this is getting us nowhere. Look how the whole world has gone after him!”

You – are guaranteed to face times in life where you don’t know why, in those moments you will have to choice what to do. I see three options lay down (give up), walk away (try to cover it up), walk through it (face it head on and believe). The people that followed Jesus every were didn’t understand he had to die... they thought all that we have seen is lost!

It wasn’t tell after that they remembered and saw the prophesies had told them this would happen.

We – are a community of followers of Jesus and at times people need others to help them believe…believing doesn’t mean you always understand. I don’t know what the future holds but what I do know is if I put ALL This in my God’s hands he will take care of it. Why, because He takes great entrust in me!
