The empty Tomb

Early they came to the tomb

With spices they prepared

They found the stone rolled away

They went in and found no body

They were perplexed?????

Two “men” stood in dazzling apparel

They were frightened

They bowed their face to the ground

Why do you seek the living among the dead? 6 He is not here, but has risen.

Remember how he told you… The Son of Man

Must be delivered (into the hands of sinful men)

Crucified

on the third day rise

Returning from the tomb they told all of these things to the apostles!

Why are you here this morning?

Family, Food, Tradition, Curiosity, to feel something!

Are you looking for Jesus among the dead or did you come to find a body! Not in reality but in the reason as to why you came!

Or did you come for the open tomb! And if you did whom are you telling about its power!

Why did you come to the empty tomb!
