One another
I Jn 4:7-19
7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. 13 We know that we live in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. 14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. 15 If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God. 16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. 17 In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like him. 18 There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. 19 We love because he first loved us. (NIV)
Ø This is how God showed his love among us. He sent his one and only Son
o He sent one!
§ In the beginning he created one. Adam and Eve were one! This was his plan to fill the earth. One at a time. Then one another.
§ He sent one to love us, to give his life for us.
§ Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
Ø No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us….
o But they can, in you as we love one another. IT’S WORKING! They are seeing God in you.
o If we love one another the love of God is allowed to mature in us, run it’s course, complete what it began.
*John 13:34 "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. (NIV)
Rom 12:10 Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves.(NIV)
Rom 13:8 Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law.(NIV)
Gal 5:13 You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love.(NIV)
Heb 3:13 But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness.(NIV)
Heb 10:24-25
24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. 25 Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another-- and all the more as you see the Day approaching.(NIV)
Why the ONE?
Couldn’t God simply sweep across this earth in his power and overcome the devil? Stop evil once and for all? Yes he could. BUT he would have to kill all those that resist his once over all approach. He would have to flood this earth like in the days of Noah and kill them all. He’s not doing that now!
He is not some power hungry dictator looking for those to rule.
v He is Love and love has to be chosen by the individual. Anything else is RAPE! Forcing his desires to love us, upon us. Forcing the seed of life into us. The church has too many children of spiritual rape. People that were forced by fear of death to succumb to his love.
v Stop using the Old testament as the standard. He had to deal with us by the Law till Jesus came. He was the revelation and Ambassador and the manifestation of his Love for us.
v What about his judgment at the end? Love demands an end, but God has extended his Mercy and Grace and has suffered with us so that as many as possible will hear and decide for themselves to love him.
Rom 2:1-8
1 You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.
2 Now we know that God's judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. 3 So when you, a mere man, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God's judgment? 4 Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, tolerance and patience, not realizing that God's kindness leads you toward repentance? 5 But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God's wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed. 6 God "will give to each person according to what he has done."
7 To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life.
8 But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. (NIV)
ONE ANOTHER!
Story of Exponential growth. $1000.00 now or start with one penny and double it per day for a month?
The Father gives the first son $1000.00 and the second son 1 penny. On the first day the first son goes out and buys himself a new bicycle and some other small stuff and has $730.00 left over, while the second son only has 1 penny. At the end of a week he is wondering is this was such a good deal. $1.28. At the end of the second week it looks a little better, but far short of what his brother has. During the third week things start to look different though.

Acts 2:42-47
42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. 43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. 44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common; 45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. 46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, 47 Praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. (KJV)
Acts 5:42 And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.
Acts 16:5 And so were the churches established in the faith, and increased in number daily.

The power of One loving the other!
Many of the disciples saw it happening so fast that they thought that Jesus would come back in their lifetime.
OK we have seen the possibility of a fast end.
This is the kind of growth that is reserved for the last generation. A quick end. The greatest growth comes in the last days.
1 Jn 4:14-15
14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. 15 If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God.
Ø If anyone
o God is the lover of people, individuals. He has waited a long time for you.
Ø acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God (we have concentrate on the anyone more than the acknowledging part.)
o acknowledges: to agree with and submit to. This is not a only a mental exercise, but a life submission to it.
§ Stop the compromise, living in two worlds
§ Stop the sin, don’t try DO IT!
§ Stop the idols, worshiping other Gods and self
§ Stop the evil practices, adding God to your collection ie.. Bulgaria woman and Baby.
o Jesus is the Son of God. The one with the authority to give me commands and I must obey them. And as such I obey him and love others. I will be like him, I will give what he gives me.
Ø God lives in him and he in God
Rom 10:6-13
6 But the righteousness that is by faith says: "Do not say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?'" (that is, to bring Christ down) 7 "or 'Who will descend into the deep?'" (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8 But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: 9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. 11 As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame." 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile-- the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." (NIV)
