A song of ascents.

Of David.

1 How good and pleasant it is

when God’s people live together in unity!

2 It is like precious oil poured on the head,

running down on the beard,

running down on Aaron’s beard,

down on the collar of his robe.

3 It is as if the dew of Hermon

were falling on Mount Zion.

For there the LORD bestows his blessing,

even life forevermore.

David reminds us in this Psalm that as we give of what we have for the sake of unity…its like oil running down over our heads or the dew of mount herman falling on Mount Zion…What does that mean?

MAIN TEXT:

The challenges for David was that he never really experienced that unity without sacrifice...

But because of Jesus…because of the gift he gave on Calvary… - and being Risen on the Third Day…God’s Grace now compels us, motivates us, by the Gift of Salvation and the Anointing of the Holy Spirit to realign our priorities from self to kingdom building...

The Resurrection Experience Last Sunday ushered a new attitude of all believers in the beginning…Let us read from our main text this morning...

MAIN TEXT:

“All the believers were one in heart and mind.

No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had.

33 With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus.

And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all 34 that there were no needy persons among them.

For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales 35 and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need.

36Entonces José, a quien los apóstoles pusieron por sobrenombre Bernabé (que traducido es, Hijo de consolación), levita, natural de Chipre, 37como tenía una heredad, la vendió y trajo el precio y lo puso a los pies de los apóstoles.
