4. Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy].

The are Two ways to receive the healing power of God.
•Primary -Through Faith in the word of God

A. What grace is and what grace is not:
1. Grace is not a license to sin (, ).
As born-again Christians, we have received the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness.
We rule and reign in life ().We have been called to freedom; however we should not allow our freedom to be an incentive to the flesh.
The flesh is a way of thinking that goes against God (, AMP).Sin has no dominion over us; we are no longer under the Law, but under grace (, , ).The grace of God teaches us to deny ungodliness (, ).We should not go half way, but go all the way, in servitude to righteousness where there is safety (, ).

2.
Grace is not a license to become lazy.
The phrase resting in God does not describe inactivity.
Resting in God describes our determination to trust God while working hard. When we are doing what God has graced us to do, we want to labor even more ().God is at work in us, giving us the desire to do what He has called us to do (, ).
3.
Grace is not an encouragement to settle for miserable circumstances.
God will strengthen us in bad situations and circumstances, but He also gives us the grace to improve our circumstances. He is able to make all grace, every favor, and earthly blessing come to us in abundance (, AMP).
There is a grace to help us succeed and remain victorious no matter what we face.
4.
Grace is not cheap.
Just because something is free doesn’t mean it’s cheap.Grace and righteousness are free to us, but they were purchased at a very high price—the precious blood of Jesus.

•Faith- trusting in something you cannot clearly prove.
“Confidence or trust, belief not based on proof, a standard of merit
oRomans 1:17 ESV-For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”
You must learn to receive by faith, through confidence, in what was accomplished by Jesus on the cross.
Jesus said “IT IS Finished” () Do you believe it?
Is your faith or confidence in what Jesus did on the cross or is it in yourself and what you can do.
Where is Your Faith?
Is it in God or is it in your works, your righteousness.
Salvation, healing and deliverance is not something that God is going to do.
We are not waiting on some futurist act.
Jesus has already done it.
Our focus has to be on Jesus’s accomplishment (grace) on the cross.
We are to look back to the Cross.
Its was at the cross where he bore all our sickness and disease.
It was at the cross where I first saw the light.
Its at the cross where the burdens of my heart are rolled away.
Its at the cross where by faith I took my sight.
And now i am happy all the day.

God –the authority
Word –exalted above his name(psalm 138:2)
Jesus has already paid the cost for your healing
Stop thinking that faith is something you do and sooner or later God is going to respond and grant you healing, salvation or deliverance.
This is not bible faith.
You must believe that Jesus has already done it.
Then “by faith” reach over into the spirit realm and take what Jesus has already provided.
What were the things that Jesus Took in order for you to Take your healing?
Jesus bore my sins in his body on the tree.
He bore my sickness [nosos/diseases].
He took my infirmities [astheneia], my weakness, my symptoms caused by disease.
I being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness, and with his stripes, I was healed at Calvary [, , , ]. Jesus Christ, was wounded [chalal] profaned, defiled, polluted, desecrated, for my transgression and rebellion.
He was bruised [daka'], crushed, for my iniquities, perverseness, depravity, and guilt.
He took my chastisement.
My chastisement [muwcar], discipline, chastening, correction needful to obtain my peace and well-being was upon Him.
This peace [shä·lome'] has given me completeness in number, soundness in body, welfare, health, safety, and prosperity.
And with the stripes that wounded Him, I am healed and made whole [, AMP, ].
