2 Timothy 2:15 AMP
Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth.
The Chapter Summary Method of the Bible Study involves gaining a general understanding of the contents of a chapter of the Bible by reading it though at least five times asking a series of content questions and summarizing the central thoughts of the passage.
The Chapter Divisions and verse numbers are not inspired

This Method is easy to learn.
This Method does not take much time.
This method does not require any outside helps or reference tools, but it is necessary to memorize the ten steps.
This method is a good type of study to use when you are engage in a rapid reading survey through the Bible.
Ten easy Steps for Doing a Chapter Summary
Step One: Give the Chapter a Caption
Step Two: Make notes on the Contents
Step Three : Who are the Chief People ?
Step Four: What are the Choice Verses ?
Step Five : Are there any Crucial Words?
Step Six: Are there any Challenges in the passage ?
Step Seven: What are the Cross- References ?
Step Eight: Where is Christ Seen ?
Step Nine: What are the Central Lessons ?
Step Ten: What are Some Conclusions ?
Matthew 3:1 ESV
In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea,
