1Co 15:12-28. Reinier Noppers. What difference does the resurrection make for us? At a quick glance, most of us would have to say, very little! But the resurrection of Jesus makes all the difference: covering past, present and future. For in the resurrected Saviour we have a Firm Foundation; complete forgiveness, righteousness and gracious fellowship with God. We gain a Focused Freedom: new life each day, indwelt by the Spirit of God, everything is given purpose and joy as we live for more than today. We look forward to a Guaranteed Future, our glorious resurrection, living forever, worship that never ends.
