Let me say this though, if a man encounters Jesus he will feel the peace of God’s presence and it can effect anybody’s actions to be changed if they apply the word.

I will show you several admonitions that, if we adhere to them, you will “have a mind of peace”.

Paul was writing to the Church at phillipi from his prison cell, this was anything but a joyful moment for him, his letter was to thank the church because he recieved a financial gift from them.

I’m sure beneath this disagreement laid a self-seeking, self-serving attitude. Which conflicts with the attitude of Christ.
I remember a couple guy’s who rented a house from someone in the church: (Bill & ED)
But one in the house of God. We would beg them to make peace.
When there is a dispute, you have to sometimes get an outside help who won’t take sides, but bring peace.

Paul called upon an unknown “yokefellow” to help bring peace between these two former laborers of his.

A peacemaker may not say anything, but simply monitor a situation in prayer.
A peacemaker may become a circuit breaker of gossip.
5. A peacemaker can bring unity by refusing to take sides.
But, become busy with the kingdom of God and you will find...

The cross of Jesus Christ was the catalyst that brought the peace of God to all people in the body of Christ.
When individuals humble themselves under the mighty hand of God and submit to the cross of Jesus Christ, great fellowship results.

Although one may not understand how it happens, God’s peace is able to guard a person’s emotions and thoughts.
