Great tranquility results when the Prince of Peace is present.

Final Exhortations

Paul was writing to the Church at phillipi from his prison cell, this was anything but a joyful moment for him, his letter was to thank the church because he recieved a financial gift from them.
Fortunately he returned to phillipi and rejoiced greatly whenever he thought of them.
But now, Paul is back and there is a disagreement with two woman in the church.

I’m sure beneath this disagreement laid a self-seeking, self-serving attitude.
Which conflicts with the attitude of Christ.

We would beg them to make peace.
When there is a dispute, you have to sometimes get an outside help who won’t take sides, but bring peace.

Paul called upon an unknown “yokefellow” to help bring peace between these two former laborers of his.
He meant a team member so to speak,
There is a difference between being a peacemaker and a meddler.
A peacemaker may not say anything, but simply monitor a situation in prayer.
A peacemaker may become a circuit breaker of gossip.

But, become busy with the kingdom of God and you will find...

Paul was encouraging the Philippians to be joyful at all times, no matter what the circumstances.

Scientists have been studying the effect of laughter on human beings and have found, among other things, that laughter has a profound and instantaneous effect on virtually every important organ in the human body.
Laughter reduces health-sapping tensions and relaxes the tissues as well as exercising the most vital organs.
It is said that laughter, even when forced, results in beneficial effect on us, both mentally and physically.
