As Jesus was leaving his disciples, his final words to them were some of our favorites and some of those we seem to observe least successfully/completely. As Christ is now risen from the dead, his disciples have met, in obedience, where he told them to go, at a mountain in Galilee. There, he taught them once more. Jesus was a teacher. To teach is to cause to know. It is clear that Jesus imparted what they were to know. They knew what he wanted. His teaching was effective and efficient.
