2 Timothy 2:15 AMP
Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth.

Step Two- Name the Opposite Quality
Step Three- Do a simple Word Study
Step Four- Find Some Cross- References
Step Five- Do a brief Biographical Study
Step Six- Find a memory verse
Step Seven - Select a Situation or Relationship to work on
Step Eight - Plan a Specific Project
Step Nine- Write Out a Personal Illustration

Other words formed with → θυμός are found fairly early, e.g., μεγάθυμος from the time of Homer,1 and ὀξύθυμος which forms something of an antonym for μακρόθυμος, from the tragic poets.2 But μακρόθυμος and its derivates are comparatively late in the non-biblical Gk. world, and they are also rare.
