Ron

++In the Old Testament we read about how Moses set up men to help him lead and judge the people

++There were over a million people that he was responsible for

++His father in law told him to set up 70 other men to help judge

++According to the census.gov website, In Lancaster County it is estimated that there are over 540,000 people

In the same way, men are leading in the area church, just like the 70 men with the children of Israel

The church of Lancaster County -The church of Ephrata -The church of Hinkletown -the church at Bethesda

Replace church with life group or body of Christ

++Bible Study, fellowship, prayer, help in practical ways, eat together, receive greater things

-Part B
- These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
Psalm 16:11 KJV 1900
Thou wilt shew me the path of life: In thy presence is fulness of joy; At thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
- Jesus said -
- These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
John 15:11 KJV 1900
These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
What are “these things” bring joy?
Read
v.4 abide in Christ, and him in us
v. 8 produce much fruit
v. 8 produce much fruit
v. 9-10 abide in the love of God by keeping his commands
v. 9-10 abide in the love of God by keeping his commands
Our fellowship with God results in joy -we can then bring others into joy as we fellowship with them
Life groups allow us to share our joy
1 Corinthians 12:12–17 KJV 1900
For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. For the body is not one member, but many. If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
Romans 1:12 KJV 1900
That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
People are exhorted and strengthened
2 Corinthians 1:4 KJV 1900
Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
Proverbs 27:17 KJV 1900
Iron sharpeneth iron; So a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.
John 13:34–35 KJV 1900
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
My Vision for Life Groups

Is there something in your life right now that is keeping you from experiencing the joy of fellowship with God or others?
Jude 24–25 KJV 1900
Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
