7 Ways to Domination
7 Ways to Domination
1. What is “domination”? control, power, or authority over others or another
2. Sin is not your master. Romans 5:14, “For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace.” Galatians 5:1, It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
3. Jesus is your Lord! 2 Corinthians 5:15, “And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.”
4. You are called to reign with Jesus. Revelation 5:10, “You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.”
5. Reign by Serving. Matthew 20:25, Jesus called them together and said, "You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. 26 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 27 and whoever wants to be first must be your slave-- 28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." John 13:1-17
6. You have been given authority. Luke 10:19, I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.
7. You’re an Ambassador – Represent! 2 Corinthians 5:20-21, 20 We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
