Today's sermon touched on some very difficult subject matter. While I did touch briefly on the problems associated with alcohol, I did not begin to clarify some of the serious issues associated with alcohol abuse. The point today was not to excuse debaucherous behavior. In fact, I work with people who struggle with many addictions.
