*Gods invitation to join Him*
*2 Corinthians 5:15-20*
* *
*Intro: *
*A little boy at school was being bullied around.
That on one of these times, he draws a line in the dirt and he said to the bully “I dare you to cross the line” the bully cross over with easy.
The little boy said, “Now you are on my side”*
* *
*Today we will begin to see that God has called us to join Him.
To be on his side of the line.
It is time to join him in his work.*
*Friend the world is the bully and for many of us we are trying to work for god and then ask God to bless our work.
It doesn’t work that way.
We must join God in his work.
We must discover his work.
What is god doing?
Not want are we doing.
It’s not our little kingdom we are building it Gods.
*
*Jesus was our picture of joining God*
*According to John 14:10-14*John 14:10-14 (NABWRNT)
10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me?
The words that I speak to you I do not speak on my own.
The Father who dwells in me is doing his works.
11 Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father is in me, or else, believe because of the works themselves.
12 Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes in me will do the works that I do, and will do greater ones than these, because I am going to the Father.
13 And whatever you ask in my name, I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14 If you ask anything of me in my name, I will do it.
*I Corinthians 3:8-9*1 Corinthians 3:8-9 (NABWRNT)
8 The one who plants and the one who waters are equal, and each will receive wages in proportion to his labor.
9 For we are God’s co-workers; you are God’s field, God’s building.

*Every time we are turn around we are invited to join a new form of worldly group that will do great work for humanity.*
*Point: there will only be one group that will do the best work for humanity.
The Church-those that are saved and are seeing God at work around them.
I know that there are many churches out there that are not making the difference in their part of the world.
There are many that have taken the invitation of the world and they have crossed over to their side.
And for the most part its hard to see the difference between them and the true church.
They are both doing work.
The difference will be found in the out come of the work.
The church that is working in the work of God will be doing all the social things with one difference life’s are changed and those that once had no live now have a new life in Christ.
