Recap

First we looked at the Great controversy, its origins and its cosmic ramifications.
Then we looked at the present conflict. We looked at our collective place in the conflict.
How God allows us to participate, not out of a need for our frailness but rather out of love. like a child whose only participation in the task is for the benefit of the child, either relationally or developmentally.
We talked about how God wants to go through this journey with us, instead of us only working for Him, we can work with Him.
How the work both glorifies God and unifies His church.
We were blessed to have heard from a few ministries.
But today I want to go even closer to home and instead of talking about what God has done in the local community, I want to talk about what God does in our hearts. In the personal controversy
We talked last week about how we wanted
how it impacted our

personal controversy

This conflict is about every individual,
There is a common saying that is said that Jesus would die on the cross even if you were the only one who had sinned. I would like to add to this saying, with the fact that I believe that the devil would also wage war with God over a single soul. Thus we are lead to the same great controversy in microcosm. The Great Controversy in my belief is a Controversy that rages over each individuals heart.
We hear all about the identity politics from the secular culture, where People are placed in certain groups and the requirements of certain jobs, colleges and entitlements require membership to that group. This is often done on the basis of skin color, gender or ethnicity, normally to mitigate for previous injustices suffered by that community. This sort of reverse discrimination is normally done with the best of intentions however does not factor in certain issues, such as the fact that every group is made up of individuals, and just because you
The issue with that is that the groups are full of individuals and just because the group stereotypically or even statistically suffers from a particular issue, it doesn't mean that the individual in the group suffers from the same fate. For example when living in South Africa, which has one of the world highest violent crime rates. In my experience and the experience of my family, we were never held
demand things for certain groups, and they place everyone in certain groups and then decide which groups deserve what.
