The Hand of the Lord stands for His power, help, and prowess.

1. Good Hand for Blessing. ().

The good that is in His Hands is sure to be enjoyed when His Hand is upon us.

2. Great Hand of Deliverance. “The Lord thy God brought thee out … with a mighty Hand” (; ; , ; ; ; ; ).

Love moved His Hand to work, redemption accompanied it, power was displayed by it, and a way for advance was cleared.

3. Guarding Hand for Preservation. ().

When His Hand is with us, evil is kept away, and our coasts are enlarged with the beauty of the life Divine.

4. Glorious Hand for Victory. ().

No foe can stand before the might and right of the Lord’s Hand. He has transfixed the flesh in the Cross of His Passion, defeated the Devil in the death of His conquest and overcame the world of opposition in the might of His achievements.

5. Gracious Hand for Keeping. (, ).

The warmth of His Heart of love is felt in the grip of His Hand of grace; and the strength of the might of power also.

6. Glowing Hand for Success. ().

Unless the Lord works by us, we labor in vain. There is only one effective Worker, and He is the Lord Himself. When He grips, there is the go of earnestness, the guidance of grace, the glow of love, and the glory of conquest.

7. Governing Hand for Rule. ().

Those who stand in opposition to His Will will be broken; but those who stand in His Will will be blest.
