Our world is full of different ideas on how to live a happy life. There are many books written on this subject, how to improve your life in six easy steps, how to increase your life, the way to a happier you. These are just a few examples of the different titles give to “how to have a happy life”. The Word of God has the answer to the question “how do we live a happy” we will look at the words of the Apostle Paul from the letter titled Ephesians. These words where given to the Church of Ephesus.  This letter was and open letter most likely written to be read to more then one church. “ In the Greek Manuscripts from the third and fourth centuries the Pauline epistles were supplied with titles: “to the Romans,” “to the Galatians,” “to the Ephesians.” Etc. The uniformity of the letters clearly indicates that these titles must have been added by second century scribes after a collection of Paul’s letters had been gathered into a corpus”.[1] The Church of Ephesus was located in the geographical area of Asia Minor.  Ephesus was at one of the leading trade center in the early first century. However, during the time of Paul it was not has powerful a trade city, but knew for its temples of worship. One of these temples was that of Dana the goddess of fertility. This temple feed into the passions of the man and to some it would great happiness this became a problem for the Christian church and the family’s  of the city. These places of worship made the  husbands very happy it would meet their need for self satification from the temple prostitution. Has the man would use the temples to bring them happiness the family would suffer from these indurances. This also  causing the church to suffer from the pressure seeking feel good life. Paul writing these from a prison cell in Rome he wants to help the Christian Church remember how to conduct themselves. With that in mind lets look at the letter he wrote to them and specifical Chapter five.
