That You May Know You Have Eternal Life

If we Have Eternal Life, we’re Partakers of His Spirit. (; )

He Abides in us by His Spirit. (1 John 3:24)

He Bears Testimony That Jesus is the Christ.

He is the Spirit of Truth. (1 John 9)

If we Have Eternal Life, we Believe that Jesus is the Christ.

We Believe because we’ve been born of God (verse 1)

We Believe in the Son of God (verse 10)

That Jesus Christ was Incarnate in Flesh. (2 John 7)

If we Have Eternal Life, we Love One Another.

We Love the People of God because they are born of God. (verse 1)

We Love the People of God Because God First Loved Us. (verse 4:19-21)

We Love the People of God Because of the Command of God. (verse 4:21)

We Must Walk in His Commandment. (2 John 5)

If we Have Eternal Life, we Overcome the World.

15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. wIf anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world. 17 And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.
