While Averill Harriman, former governor of New York, was serving in a diplomatic position he was asked about the fluency of his French.  Mr. Harriman replied, “It is excellent, except for the verbs.”  In like manner, in the church today the nouns (Lord’s supper, baptism, etc.) are all right; however, we have a long way to go with the verbs (serve, help, administer , go, follow, teach).
