James 4:6 But he gives more grace.
Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”
6.
But he giveth a greater grace (RVm).
The soul which uses grace receives ever-increasing supplies of it (cf.
; ).
As in biology a function used grows stronger, so in grace.

But from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away

first and foremost this passage is about repentance and everyone in here under the sound of my voice is catching up to the will of God in some area of your life, says (he who begun a good work in you) look at your neighbor and say you ain’t there yet… So we are all growing in grace ...none of us have arrived ......and there are those in here today that God wants you to catch up to his will in the area of tithing… FOOT NOTE: whenever we share its always to edify and uplift or to encourage ... .
never to beat you up
last week the Spirit of Christ challenged some of you to step out on fait and trust God and start tithing.
As we prepare to worship through giving and we take a look at this text, whats interesting is that James declares that God gives more grace!
As we prepare to worship through giving and we take a look at this text, whats interesting is that James declares that God gives more grace!
how do we interpret that?
Because What’s interesting is that Paul says in 11 Corinthians 12:9 that Gods grace is sufficient
but James gets a different revelation of Gods grace he reveals that it is perpetual
says ....For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.
how do we appropriate the perpetual Grace of God?
The Apostle James gives a adequate answer
He says this Grace comes natural to the humble.
Do note that we are saved by Grace, ....but grace doesn’t stop after salvation
when the bible says he has a multitude of tender mercies that encompasses.
There’s a grace for salvation and a grace for sanctification (i wish i had time)
and when it comes to tithing , tithing is not just an act of worship, but it is a true sign of humility.
its you demonstrating faith through obedience
tithing is you as a believer humbly submitting to the will of God ....its you demonstrating faith through obedience
and this demonstration of faith ....unlocks another dimension and flow of Grace in my life
Biologically speaking, you’ve heard the term, if you don’t use it you loose it
that’s why baby boomers and generation X love line dancing .. because we trying to hold on to the little bit of rhythm we got left
failing to exorcise faith through obedience when it comes to tithing, hinders the flow of grace in my life ....and thats in every area
think of it this way when you don’t tithe , its like failing to tap into unlimited resources
because whenever you humble yourself to the will of God you open yourself up to this invaluable resource called grace
because whenever you humble yourself to the will of God you open yourself up to this invaluable resource called grace
i don’t know who this is for ,.... but when you walking in obedience to Gods will ..... you don’t have to worry about there being more month than money because you got .. more grace
you don’t have to worry how you gonna pay this student loan off .....because God gives you more Grace
and i hear some in the spirit realm questioning what can i do with more grace … thats not money ....it’s not tangible
well some things money can’t buy … but you need more grace
when the doctor gives the diagnoses … you don’t need more money ..you need more grace
when they start laying people off in your department....money aint gonna help you.... you need more grace
when the devil fighting your marriage … and peace seems like its fleeting ...you need more grace
when you can’t afford the co-pay … and you need more money but it ain’t there ..ohhh well i got more grace
better a little with the fear of the lord than great wealth and turmoil … somebody shout more grace
touch your neighbor and say i’d rather have grace
