One of the many great things about the Bible is that it’s a very practical book as well as a spiritual book meant to draw you closer to God.
People who follow the advice of the bible and gain wisdom from it will not only keep themselves out of trouble, but will also give themselves the opportunity to be wealthy, prestigious, etc.

Here’s the catch…we don’t always like hearing the advice.
Today’s topic is one of those.
Laziness is a topic that is sometimes overlooked in student ministries, but its mentions many times in the bible.
When laziness is mentioned in the bible, it’s often followed by some negative consequences.

Ask if anyone avoids homework or doesn’t turn work in on time.

Laziness not only leads to poverty and other social or financial problems, but it could also lead to an unhealthy life.

Share how, many times, you don’t engage visitors or non-believers because you know it will be a lot of work.
Explain how that can cause some to never come to a saving knowledge of Christ.
Challenge them not to let laziness take over their high school lives.
