What Comes to Mind When You think of the term Man of God ?

Phil 2:

Philippians 2:19 ESV

I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon, so that I too may be cheered by news of you.

Philippians 2:20 ESV

For I have no one like him, who will be genuinely concerned for your welfare.

Being a Man of God is about being caring

Cares about other people not just himself

Cares about family

Philippians 2:21 ESV

For they all seek their own interests, not those of Jesus Christ.

Philippians 2:22 ESV

But you know Timothy’s proven worth, how as a son with a father he has served with me in the gospel.

Being a Man of God is about being Consistent

Proven: Tested, , verified checked out, determined reliable

Faithful : keep their word , don't flip flop, keep their promises , even when it hurts them.

My greatest ability is Dependable

Being a Man of God is about fellowship

Being a Man of God is about being a soldier

Being a Man of God is about being Cooperative

Have to be a team player, not independent , we are better together isn't difficult

Difference in opinion and conviction

Philippians 2:26 ESV

for he has been longing for you all and has been distressed because you heard that he was ill.

Being a Man of God is about being considerate

He is worried because they are worried about him

Not get over it

He is worried about how His actions and His word are effecting other people

Thoughtful of the rights and feelings of others
